Cattery Tour

I thought it would be nice to show you where some of our felines spend their leisure time. All of the pictures here are thumbnails so you can click on each one to see the bigger picture. Our males of course live in the cattery and some of our girls choose to stay there as well as it is quiet for them. With the number of cats here, there are bound to be some that do not get along with others, this way they can have their own living quarters if they choose. They often trade places though, this way, the same cats are not in the cattery at all times. Come on in and take a peek !

This is the newest piece of equipment we have added to our nursery. I purchased this to use for moms with babies as the moms can jump out the windows and front door but the babies cannot get out. This way, there is no need to have a litter box and food dishes near the babies.

This is the girls area where they have their castle to climb in. They also have a love circle and tables and chairs to sleep on, in and under.

This is Lacy enjoying her wind chimes and just plain relaxing.

cattery boysroom.jpg (43304 bytes)

This is part of one of our males rooms. Yes, there is a cage but it is not used often. When I am breeding one male, the second goes in here to prevent fights.

Vanish has a good view of all the females at all times. They visit him often at his window and talk about feline stuff.

cattery boxes.jpg (45719 bytes)

All of our cats have many places to climb, hide out or sleep. We made these boxes so that they can stack on top of one another. It is not unusual to see 3 or 4 together. We also use these boxes for our delivering moms to have their babies in.

We make most of our climbers and as you can see, the girls have taken a particular interest in this wild cat print one.
