When I lost my female flame point Himalayan Charli, I was devastated and
started a desperate search to fill the void she left in my days. I found
myself searching the internet for breeders who would answer my quest for a
kitten. Several had kittens available, but I needed help in deciding where,
who and what I would choose.
I had emailed Shaded Tails when I started my search and Bonnie was always
willing to answer my questions and offer support and guidance in my selection.
She answered all my questions without hesitation and replied to all my
e-mails. She even went so far as to find a breeder in Alberta
that handled Himmies.
Through all of this I fell in love with a little blue cream female that a very
kind breeder emailed me the picture of at my request. Being in Alberta and the
little kitten in Ontario, I had many worries about the flight etc. I was
reassured that all would be fine and was given every last detail on the
shipping of a kitten. During the days that I had to wait for my kitten to
reach "the flying age", this very kind lady emailed me with news and
picture updates.
The day finally arrived for the kitten to fly and the breeder phoned me with
all the particulars: flight number, way bill number, departing time arrival
time, plus once again I was reassured that all would be fine. The
kitten arrived exactly as planned and Air Canada was wonderful. This little
fluff ball started to purr as soon as I took her from the carrier, she purred
for most of the 2hr car ride home, and she is still purring.
She is the most relaxed, affectionate and people loving kitten I have had. Her
adjustment time was only a couple of days. I took her to my vet to have her
checked out and Dr. Stretch and his staff fell in love with her. I was told
that I have a beautiful kitten with a wonderful disposition.Needless to say - She
received a banner check.
This little blue cream kittens name is SHADED TAILS DUCHESS DOWNY SAPPHIRE
and the wonderful, kind breeder is Bonnie McNamara of Shaded Tails.
Bonnie is a class one, caring and knowledgeable lady and I would highly
recommend one of her gang to anyone who truly wants a kitten that is not
only for show or breeding but a pet with a
great personality.
P.S.
Duke arrived safely yesterday. He is the just as wonderful as Duchess,
but a little more of a talker. My husband thinks that this is strange,
cause usually the females talk more!
Once again Bonnie has proved to be outstanding, helpful and very
knowledgeable.
For all of you that are wondering if you should bring home one cat or two--
Do not even hesitate, Take it from me two are by far better than one. Hind
sight is always 20/20 and knowing what I do now, Duke would have come with
Duchess and they would not have to go through this transition time of
getting to know each other again, and Duchess would not of had 2 lonely
months.
and if you want to phone, Bonnie will give you my number.
