So you're looking for a Himalayan kitten. You've come to the right place. I've
dealt with house pets for most of my life having grown up with many as a
child, followed by several years caring for Humane Society overflow (which
included cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, squirrels, etc). I'd never owned a pet
from a breeder.
My wife and I had decided it was time to introduce pets into our family (2
children) and this time I wanted something special, a Himalayan. So started
an exhaustive search of the internet to find out what we could about who,
what and where these people could be found. Luckily we found Bonnie and her
Shaded Tails Cattery.
Bonnie was immediately helpful, upfront and open to questions about her
operation culminating in our paying her a visit at her cattery. We spent
several hours surrounded by cats and kittens discussing the pros and cons of
cats and their care. We confirmed our choice of a Tortie (now named Oreo by
our daughter). We mentioned to Bonnie we were interested in another kitten
but something in a different colour to our Tortie. NOT A PROBLEM. Bonnie had
friends who had started their cattery through her and they had a black
kitten of the same age. Bonnie vouched for their operation, good enough for
us, and we had Chester. We picked Chester up and found the other breeder to
be as kind and helpful as Bonnie had promised. Having found our other kitten
for us she then offered to care for both kittens for a couple of days so we
could present the kittens together to our children, as just part of her
service. What can we say, a wonderful combination of country kindness with
very professional and knowledgeable assistance. We are very pleased with our
kittens. YOU WON'T GO WRONG HERE. If you'd like a follow-up to our experience
please feel free to email us at  evansp60@hotmail.com  and we'll be happy to
give you an update. Bonnie, thank-you!
