We recently adopted a cream point male, two year old Himmie named Yoda from
Shaded Tails Himalayan Cattery (Bonnie McNamara).  We were looking for a full
grown Himmie to adopt because we already have two others cats one domestic
short hair and one 9 month old Ragdoll and did not want to expose a kitten to
grown cats.
We spent a lot of time looking for the perfect grown Himmie and must have
looked into at least five catteries before deciding upon adopting from Shaded
Tails.  After interviewing with Bonnie we decided we would go with Shaded
Tails as she was both completely knowledgeable and very friendly.  We could
tell the cattery was run by professional and very caring people and, we found
the perfect Himmie there!   We have owned two other cream pts in the past.
This Himmie whose name is "Yoda" was the sweetest we had ever seen having
huge and expressive saucer blue eyes set in a wide and whiskered face.  He
has a long, strong regal frame with a superior coat and a wonderful pedigree
of which we have our friends the McNamara's to thank.  The adoption itself
went very smoothly and Bonnie answered all our questions and offered much
information about Himmies we had not known.  I liked the fact that the
McNamara's are very conscientious and careful about those who want to adopt
to make sure their fur children go to a good home.   We received emails
during those first couple of weeks from Bonnie to see how Yoda was doing.  I
liked the idea very much that follow up contact was made throughout the
initial steps of the adoption into the first couple of weeks.  We have
remained in  contact with the McNamara's since the adoption.
